Supporting arguments

Ephesians 2:8,9 supports the view that salvation comes from faith alone. [1]

John 14:6 supports the view that salvation comes from faith alone. [2]

Titus 3:5 supports the view that salvation comes from faith alone. [3]

While it is expected that all people should participate in holy Catholic sacraments like baptism and the Eucharist, people who gain Christian faith but do not have the means to participate in the proper works will still achieve salvation when they die. Therefore, it is ultimately faith alone that saves. [4]

Through the cooperation of individuals and God, people can develop their faith sufficiently to achieve salvation. Can you supply this point with a source that proves it is earnest? Do it yourself or provide the link on the talk page.

Opposing arguments

Jesus would not have talked about doing good deeds so much, in the New Testament, if doing so weren't necessary to achieve salvation. [5]

Salvation actually comes from knowledge and understanding of the divine, not faith at all. Can you supply this point with a source that proves it is earnest? Do it yourself or provide the link on the talk page.
