Supporting arguments

Christians belong to God's kingdom, not man's, and they should not endeavor to be a part of government. [1]

Opposing arguments

Christians are human beings. They should not refrain from serving the government as long as they don't let their beliefs cloud their judgement. This would often mean they would go to hell for making decisions against their God. Can you supply this point with a source that proves it is earnest? Do it yourself or provide the link on the talk page.

In the Bible, Zacchaeus was a tax collector who converted, and did not abandon his occupation. No indication is given in the Bible that his work was wrong (Luke 19:2-10). [2]

Philippians 4:22 and Acts 8:27 both confirm that it is acceptable for Christians to serve in government. [3]
