The Bible is how God communicates his will to the world. It is therefore the supreme moral authority in all things. [1]

The Bible's moral precepts allow for such practices as slavery and child abuse, which are almost universally accepted as wrong. Therefore, we know that The Bible is not an infallible source of moral authority. [2] [3]

One example of the Bible condoning immorality is Deuteronomy 22:20-21. This verse commands the execution of people who engage in pre-marital and extra-marital sex, which is an immoral use of capital punishment. [4]
