| Christians should live communally

Supporting arguments
Acts 2:44-45 confirms the view that early Christians lived communally. Modern Christians should do likewise to emulate them. [1]
Opposing arguments
Early Christians were poor and powerless, and benefited from living communally. It was not necessary for them, and is not mandatory today. [2]
Living arrangements which benefited the early church are not necessarily feasible in modern times. Specifically, communal living is tantamount to communism, which is well-established as ineffective. [3]
